Expands Medicaid eligibility to certain working parents in Texas with available federal matching funds.

This bill amends the Human Resources Code to expand Medicaid eligibility to working parents of dependent children who apply for assistance and for whom federal matching funds are available. The Health and Human Services Commission must take action to implement this change as soon as possible after the bill's effective date of September 1, 2025. The bill also allows for delays in implementation if additional federal waivers or authorizations are needed.
