Texas HB3144 amends the Election Code to restrict polling places from being located on public school or higher education campuses unless the campus is closed for operation during voting. Additionally, polling places cannot be located at the residence of a candidate for an elective office or a person related to such a candidate within the third degree by consanguinity or the second degree by affinity. This Act takes effect September 1, 2025.
