Texas HB305 amends election procedures to allow voters to vote in their current precinct if their address is not current and changes the effective.

Texas HB305 modifies election procedures to allow voters to vote in their current precinct if their residence address is not current, provided they reside within the county. The bill also changes the effective date of voter registration updates to the 30th day after the voter submits a notice of change of address or a statement of residence. These changes apply to notices of change of address submitted after the effective date of the Act.
