Texas HB3001 amends Section 4102.007(a) of the Insurance Code to specify that the right to contract with a public insurance adjuster applies to commercial or residential property insurance policies issued by various types of insurers. These include capital stock insurance companies, mutual insurance companies, county mutual insurance companies, Lloyd's plans, reciprocal or interinsurance exchanges, and farm mutual insurance companies. The changes will take effect on September 1, 2025.
