Texas HB2914 amends the Transportation Code to designate the portion of U.S. Highway 69 in Smith County between its intersection with South State Loop 323 and its intersection with the northern municipal limits of Bullard as the Veterans Memorial Highway. The Texas Department of Transportation is tasked with designing and constructing markers to indicate this designation and to erect markers at each end of the highway and at appropriate intermediate sites along the highway. The designation is in addition to any other designation. The act takes effect September 1, 2025.
