Texas HB2752 prohibits the purchase or acquisition of title to real property by certain foreign entities and individuals. These include governmental entities or governing political parties of designated countries, organizations controlled by such entities or individuals, and individuals who are citizens of designated countries and not lawfully present in the United States. Exceptions apply to U.S. citizens, lawful permanent residents, and certain homestead properties. The attorney general can enforce this law and bring actions against violators. The act takes effect September 1, 2025.
