This bill establishes a task force to assess the current racial diversity in Texas' nursing workforce, identify existing initiatives, set goals for diversification, and develop recommendations for strategies to reduce barriers. The task force, composed of nine members representing various nursing and educational institutions, will deliver a report to the legislature by September 1, 2026. The task force will be abolished and this Act will expire on December 1, 2027.
