Texas HB2625 amends the Health and Safety Code to prohibit local entities from requiring sound regulation permits, fees, or prohibitions on sound-related activities for deliveries to food service establishments between 10 p.m. and 5 a.m. This applies to deliveries of food, nonalcoholic beverages, food service supplies, or ice lasting one hour or less, provided the sound level does not exceed 75 dBA from the nearest residential property, excluding traffic and other background noise. This Act takes effect September 1, 2025.
