Texas HB2579 amends the Election Code to prohibit polling places from being located on public primary or secondary school campuses. Additionally, it prohibits polling places from being located at the residence of a candidate for an elective office or a family member related within the third degree by consanguinity or the second degree by affinity to a candidate. This Act takes effect September 1, 2025.
