This bill allows for the automatic expunction of arrest records and files for public safety employees who successfully complete a public safety employees treatment court program. It amends the Code of Criminal Procedure to include expunction eligibility for those who complete such programs. The bill also waives fees for expunction orders for individuals who complete veterans, mental health, or public safety employees treatment court programs. The changes take effect September 1, 2025.
