Texas HB2468 amends the Property Code to allow a purchaser to terminate a contract of purchase and sale for real property if the seller did not provide notice that the property is in a public improvement district. The purchaser can terminate the contract for any reason within seven days of receiving the notice. This provision applies to contracts executed after the effective date of the Act. If the Act receives a two-thirds vote, it takes effect immediately; otherwise, it takes effect September 1, 2025.
