Expands the definition of authorized emergency vehicles in Texas to include more types of vehicles responding to emergencies.

This bill amends the definition of "authorized emergency vehicle" in the Texas Transportation Code to include additional types of vehicles responding to emergencies. These include county-owned or leased emergency management vehicles, vehicles designated by the department, and private vehicles of volunteers or employees responding to fire alarms or medical emergencies. The changes take effect January 1, 2026.
