The bill amends the Special District Local Laws Code to require the board of directors of the West Coke County Hospital District to select one or more banks within the district to serve as depositories for district money. The act will take effect immediately if it receives a two-thirds vote in both houses of the Texas Legislature; otherwise, it will take effect on September 1, 2025.
