Texas HB2348 amends the Code of Criminal Procedure to allow video recording of depositions for elderly or disabled persons in criminal cases. The court may order the video recording on the motion of either party. The person operating the video recording device must be available to testify regarding the authenticity of the video recording and the taking of the deposition for it to be admissible.
