Texas HB2294 amends the Government Code to allow boards to reimburse Texas Rising Star Program providers at the board's maximum rate for the provider's rating level, regardless of the provider's published rate. This change is permissible only if it does not reduce the commission's target performance measure for the average number of children served each day for subsidized child care in the workforce development area.
