Texas HB2262 amends the Transportation Code to require toll project entities operating tolled lanes with variable pricing to install dynamic message signs at each entrance. These signs must be visible to all road users before entering the lane and display the current toll cost, travel time in the tolled lane, and travel time in non-tolled lanes. Toll projects do not need to comply with this requirement before January 1, 2026. The act takes effect September 1, 2025.
