Limits the number of media production development zones and qualified media production locations in Texas.
This bill amends the Texas Government Code to set limits on the number of media production development zones and qualified media production locations. It restricts the total number of media production development zones to 15 at any one time. Additionally, it limits the number of media production development zones in a region to 10 and the number of qualified media production locations within each zone to eight. This Act takes effect September 1, 2025.
