Texas HB1845 amends Section 130.913(e) of the Local Government Code to clarify that rural prosecutor's offices awarded a grant can only use the funds to increase the salary of an assistant attorney, an investigator, a paralegal, or a victim assistance coordinator employed at the office, or to hire additional staff. This Act takes effect September 1, 2025.
