Texas HB1237 amends the Water Code to change the rules for renewing expired occupational licenses and registrations. Individuals whose licenses or registrations have expired for not more than 90 days can now apply for renewal by paying a fee up to 1.5 times the normal renewal fee. Those whose licenses or registrations have expired for at least 90 days but less than one year can apply for renewal by paying a fee up to twice the normal renewal fee.
