HB1207 amends the Insurance Code to establish conditions for health benefit plan coverage of in vitro fertilization procedures. The coverage is required only if the patient is covered under the group health benefit plan, has a history of infertility, has tried less costly infertility treatments, and the procedures are performed at a facility meeting American Society for Reproductive Medicine standards. The changes apply to health benefit plans delivered, issued for delivery, or renewed on or after January 1, 2026. The act takes effect September 1, 2025.
