Texas HB1159 amends the Election Code to require county commissioners to designate a polling place on the main campus of a general academic teaching institution if it has at least 8,000 students enrolled. Voting by personal appearance at these campus polling places must occur during the same hours as early voting and on election day. The changes will take effect on September 1, 2025.
