Texas HB1110 amends the Civil Practice and Remedies Code to limit civil suits against individuals who report suspicious activity to law enforcement in good faith. A civil action cannot be brought if the person acted reasonably and believed the activity was related to a crime, including terrorism. This protection applies to causes of action that accrue after the Act's effective date of September 1, 2025.
