Texas HB1102 amends the Government Code to allow the Texas Building Commission to hold a ceremony to dedicate a new state building. The commission can use up to $20,000 of appropriated funds for food, nonalcoholic beverages, flowers, decorations, and other items for the ceremony. The commission can also accept gifts, grants, or donations for this purpose, but cannot use these funds to purchase alcoholic beverages.
