The resolution honors and commends the members of the 168th Military Police Battalion, Tennessee Army National Guard, for their meritorious service in support of the Joint Task Force-Southern Border mission. The Battalion, under the command of Lieutenant Colonel Robert E. Crowley, operated along a 300-mile border area, conducting over 14,000 detections, turn-backs, and assisted apprehensions. They established and maintained numerous border sites, supported riverine operations, and engaged in coordinated operations with various federal, state, and local law enforcement agencies.
