This bill proposes an amendment to Article VII, Section 5 of the Tennessee Constitution, altering the election dates for judicial and civil officers. Beginning in 2034, judicial officers and other county officials, except property assessors, will be elected on the first Tuesday after the first Monday in November. Property assessors will be elected on the first Thursday in August starting in 2032.
