Repeals prior acts related to the Rutherford County Highway Commission and establishes new provisions for the commission and the County Highway.

This bill repeals previous acts concerning the Rutherford County Highway Commission and establishes new provisions. It creates the office of County Highway Superintendent, who will be elected by county voters every four years. The County Highway Superintendent will have control over the county's road systems, public drainage easements, and personnel. The County Highway Commission, divided into seven Road Board Zones, will meet monthly and require a four-member majority to conduct business.
