Tennessee SB2708 modifies the Williamson County Hospital's authority to sell or lease its properties. The bill restricts the Board of Trustees from leasing substantially all facilities to one or more entities without Williamson County Board of Commissioners' approval. The act requires a two-thirds vote from the Williamson County legislative body for approval, which must be certified to the secretary of state. If approved, the act takes effect immediately for approval or rejection purposes, but for all other purposes, it becomes effective as specified in Section 2.
