SB2696 amends the allocation of taxes in Cheatham County, Tennessee. If approved by a two-thirds vote of the county's legislative body, 46.67% of the tax will fund the Cheatham County Education Debt Service Fund, another 46.67% will be reserved for school building debt, and 6.66% will support the Cheatham County Highway/Public Works Fund. The act becomes effective upon approval and certification by the presiding officer.
