Allows individuals to sue federal agencies for damages caused by negligent immigration enforcement actions.

Tennessee SB2677 amends Tennessee Code to allow individuals who suffer injury, death, or property damage due to negligent actions by federal immigration enforcement agents to file a lawsuit against the federal agency employing the agent. Successful claimants can recover compensatory damages and reasonable attorney's fees and costs. The claim must be filed within one year of the incident. This act takes effect July 1, 2026.
