It requires school officials to report any valid and credible threats of mass violence made by students to law enforcement. The bill also mandates that assessments of students exhibiting threatening behavior must be conducted by mental healthcare providers, including psychiatrists, physicians with expertise in psychiatry, and others with relevant training and experience. The changes take effect on July 1, 2026.
