Tennessee SB2492 amends Tennessee Code to allow members of the United States Congress, their employees, and certain other officials to enter correctional institutions for oversight purposes. The bill defines "correctional institution" and prohibits these entities from preventing entry by specified officials. The act takes effect upon becoming law.
