Tennessee SB2476 amends health care regulations to allow nurses to qualify for home care organization licensure without hiring staff or maintaining.
Tennessee SB2476 amends Tennessee Code Annotated, Title 63 and Title 68, relative to health care. The bill allows a nurse providing home health services under a licensed home care organization to four or less patients to qualify for licensure without hiring staff or maintaining an office. Instead, the nurse must request space from the Department of Health to securely store patient records. The Department of Health is required to provide such space upon request.
