SB2472 modifies Tennessee Code Annotated, Title 42, Chapter 3 and Title 42, Chapter 4, by changing the timeline for airport authority board budget submissions. The president must now prepare and submit the operating budget to the board for approval at least seventy-five days prior to the fiscal year, up from the previous sixty days. This change takes effect July 1, 2026.
