Extends child support obligation for children enrolled in high school until graduation or age 19.
This bill amends Tennessee law to extend the child support obligation for parents until their child graduates from high school or reaches 19 years of age, whichever comes first. Support continues until the child graduates, the parent provides documentation of graduation or death, or the child marries. Support cannot continue past the child's 19th birthday unless the child is handicapped or disabled. This act takes effect immediately upon becoming law.
