SB2282 amends Tennessee law to protect child care home operators from certain property restrictions.

SB2282 amends Tennessee Code to ensure that homeowners' associations and landlords cannot enforce restrictions on the operation of licensed family or group child care homes in residential properties. This applies to both new and existing declarations. Landlords are prohibited from refusing to rent to, or making unavailable for rent, properties to those operating or planning to operate a licensed child care home.
