Tennessee SB2240 requires the Department of Education to review and propose revisions to physical education standards by December 31, 2027. These revisions must incorporate guidance from the President's Council on Sports, Fitness, and Nutrition to reestablish the Presidential Fitness Test. The proposed standards must be posted for public review on the state board of education's website before final adoption. This act takes effect immediately upon becoming law.
