SB2121 amends Tennessee Code to change the minimum age requirement for school bus drivers to 23 years old. It also removes subsection (e) from Tennessee Code Annotated, Section 55-50-302, and modifies subsection (b) of Tennessee Code Annotated, Section 49-6-2107, allowing local boards of education and public charter school governing bodies to set driver qualifications. The act takes effect July 1, 2026.
