Tennessee SB2092 requires the Tennessee advisory commission on intergovernmental relations (TACIR) to conduct a thorough evaluation of the preparedness and response efforts of local and state officials, departments, and agencies during the Hurricane Helene natural disaster. All relevant local and state entities must assist TACIR with this evaluation. By January 31, 2027, TACIR must submit its findings and recommendations, including potential legislative changes, to the state and local committees of the senate and the house of representatives.
