Tennessee SB1986 amends the state's anatomical gift laws to allow medical examiners to set reasonable conditions for the procurement of anatomical gifts, including requiring forensic personnel participation. It also allows medical examiners to request additional tests for donor screening and to deny procurement if it would compromise the integrity of the forensic investigation, destroy evidence, unreasonably delay the autopsy, or conflict with the medical examiner's duties.
