Tennessee SB1911 amends Tennessee Code Annotated, Title 49 and Title 71, relative to food assistance. It allows the state to apply for and accept federal grants and funds available through the summer electronic benefits transfer (SEBT) for children program. This program provides nutrition assistance during the summer months for eligible children to ensure continued access to food when school is not in session.
