SB1860 amends Tennessee law to establish criteria for state aid to agricultural fairs and livestock shows. The bill sets eligibility criteria for fairs and shows, including quality and quantity of programs, and limits participation to fairs that paid at least $1,000 in premiums. Awards of merit are issued exclusively to agricultural fairs. The commissioner of agriculture is authorized to receive recommendations, enter into agreements, and expend a portion of state aid for administration.
