SB1816 amends Tennessee Code Annotated, Title 57, Chapter 3, to redefine "manufacture" and "manufacturer" in relation to alcohol. The bill specifies that "manufacture" includes brewing high alcohol content beer, distilling distilled spirits, rectifying distilled spirits, bottling distilled spirits, and operating a winery. Similarly, "manufacturer" now includes brewers of high alcohol content beer, distillers, rectifiers, bottlers of distilled spirits, and vintners. This act becomes effective upon becoming law, as the public welfare requires.
