Tennessee SB1800 amends Tennessee Code Annotated, Title 62, Chapter 3 and Title 62, Chapter 4, relative to professional licensing. It mandates that the board use a student identification number for applicants accruing instructional hours in order to apply for an examination or a certificate of registration. The board is prohibited from using a student's social security number on an hourly report form and must instead use the student identification number until a student is ready to take an examination or receive a license. The act takes effect upon becoming a law.
