Tennessee SB1742 amends the definition of "hybrid electric vehicle" in state law.

Tennessee SB1742 amends Tennessee Code Annotated, Title 55, Chapter 4, by redefining "hybrid electric vehicle" to mean a vehicle propelled by a combination of an electric motor and an internal combustion engine or other power source. The new definition excludes low speed vehicles and medium speed vehicles. This act takes effect upon becoming law.
