This bill amends Tennessee Code to exempt active military personnel stationed outside Tennessee from paying additional vehicle registration fees when renewing their registrations. The exemption requires the service member to provide official stationing orders to the county clerk at the time of registration renewal. The Tennessee Code Commission is requested to update cross-references to reflect the changes. The act takes effect July 1, 2026.
