SB1731 allows the state to appeal certain court orders as of right.

SB1731 amends Tennessee law to allow the state to appeal as of right an interlocutory order of a circuit or chancery court that grants, continues, or modifies an injunction against the state or any state official, denies a motion to dissolve or modify an injunction, denies sovereign immunity, denies qualified immunity for any state official, or denies a motion to dismiss filed by the state. The act takes effect upon becoming law.
