Tennessee SB1725 amends moorage rules for recreational vessels in reservoirs and the Tennessee River system.
Tennessee SB1725 amends Tennessee Code Annotated, Title 69, Chapter 9, to regulate the moorage of recreational vessels. The bill prohibits mooring a vessel for more than fourteen consecutive days at one place along a reservoir's water's edge or within one mile of the water's edge. It also bans establishing temporary moorage within primary or secondary navigation channels of the Tennessee River system and placing mooring lines in a way that blocks or hinders boating access.
