Tennessee SB1711 modifies the venue rules for judicial dissolution of nonprofit corporations. It specifies that venue for a proceeding by the attorney general and reporter to dissolve a corporation can be in any county where the corporation's principal office is located, where the corporation has engaged in activities, or where the attorney general and reporter has an office. If the corporation does not have a principal office in the state, venue can be at the corporation's registered office. This act takes effect immediately upon becoming law.
