Exempts family child care homes with a U.S. Department of Defense certificate from Tennessee licensure if they serve only eligible patrons.

This bill amends Tennessee law to exempt family child care homes with a U.S. Department of Defense certificate from state licensure, provided they only serve eligible patrons. An "eligible patron" is defined under 32 CFR 79.3. This exemption applies to homes that obtain the required certificate under 32 CFR 79.6. The changes take effect July 1, 2026.
