Tennessee SB1653 amends damages limits in Tennessee Code.

Tennessee SB1653 amends Tennessee Code to increase the maximum damages for personal injury cases from three hundred thousand dollars to five hundred thousand dollars and from one million dollars to one million five hundred thousand dollars. This act takes effect July 1, 2026.
